# 9 Judy Butler butler
Fiber and Glass Quilts
Showing with #8

Animals, nature, color, and whimsy are just a few of the themes that influence my
fused glass. I am fortunate to live on a farm in Newcastle where I am surrounded by numerous animals, loving family and natural beauty. It is in this setting that I
have my glass studio and find my inspiration.

The process starts with creating a design and then carefully cutting pieces of glass. I layer it in a kiln where it is fired for approximately 18 hours. This may
be repeated several times until the artwork has achieved the desired effect. The pieces I create are one-of-a-kind and include fine jewelry and pieces for the home. I create a unique product that demonstrates craftsmanship and design with a touch of whimsy.  My work is displayed at several local galleries, stores and on the internet.

#11: Stacey Lamothe
StaceyJewelry
Showing with #10

Stacey Lamothe, jewelry & metal artist, began a series of art hobbies at an early age. After discovering an affinity for copper, sterling and a serious dog obsession, Lamothe began making dog & animal themed jewelry.  Not all of her repertoire contains animals though. She also makes one-of-a kind pieces, many from repurposed found objects. Most pendants have a “secret” message on the back that rests over your heart.

Lamothe’s love of metal expanded when she completed a series of welding classes at the local adult school. Now added to her line are dogged door knockers and greeting signs. Stacey shares her world with her husband, two dogs, twelve chickens, a prolific garden and great girlfriends. They inspire and remind her that Every Day is sacred!
All jewelry is Lab tested, cat scanned,
hen pecked and led to water before you get it!

Larry

I have always been drawn to the beauty, mystery and ever evolving face of nature as a source of strength and renewal.  A walk in the woods or a canyon, whether with or without a camera, gives me a renewed source of purpose and peace.

My experiences in nature have led me to explore multiple avenues to capture that magical moment in time where light and spirit combine to produce a memorable photographic image.
